Digger

“Digger” was a highly anticipated film by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, the Academy Award winning director of “Birdman” and “Roma”, and starring Tom Cruise in a role that was supposed to be award winning. I have heard that the film is bombing and I understand why. Cruise gives a tour de force performance as an actor/character. Unfortunately the plot is very strange and most of the characters are not very likable. It is almost as if they are written to be obnoxious. There is a lot of overacting and a plot that doesn’t always make sense. You can avoid this one.
